Pilates exercise anatomy (online)

The goal of this seminar is to learn the correct performance of Pilates exercises while keeping proper posture, which is crucial in Pilates training. During the seminar you will be introduced with correct Pilates exercise performance technique, further your knowledge of muscle functions and deep muscles. You will feel how they “work” while performing exercises, learn how to properly breathe and what should be the correct position of the back!
We invite beginners and advanced students, everyone, who wants to further their knowledge of Pilates exercise performance!

Seminars are held in Lithuanian language.

1st day

Time Title
9:30 – 10:00 Registration.
10:00 – 11:00 Introduction. Pilates method and back-stabilizing exercises. Natural back posture. “Body center” and muscles around it. Breathing.
11:00 – 13:00 Spine. Correct spine’s positioning and movement. Pilates exercises performing different spine’s movements and movement analysis. Proper posture while performing basic Pilates exercises.
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch break
14:00 – 15:00 Upper limb movements and muscles involved. Muscles, their structure, classification.
15:00 – 16:00 Pilates exercises performing various upper limb movements.
16:00 – 17:00 Lower limb movements and muscles involved. Muscles and their structure, classification.
17:00 – 18:00 Pilates exercises performing various lower limb movements.

2nd day

Time Title
09:30-11:30 Pilates lesson, analysis. Specific movement technique’s biomechanics.
11:30-13:30 Classic Pilates exercises’ biomechanics and anatomic analysis. Specific movement technique’s biomechanics.
13:30 – 14:00 Lunch break
14:00-15:30 Classic Pilates exercises’ biomechanics and anatomic analysis. Muscles, their structure, classification.
15:30 – 16:00 Seminar discussion. Questions-Answer
16:00 – 16:15 Euroeducation certificate awarding.
