The Polestar® Pilates Reformer course is a unique offer for those who want to quickly start training or train others with REFORMER equipment or who want to gain additional theory and practical skills in working with the REFORMER.
Gym and personal trainers, group program instructors, exercise therapy instructors, osteopaths will find undoubted advantages of this exercise machine. Using it as the main or as an additional element of training. During the workshop, we will explore more than 30 exercises with the REFORMER equipment for beginners and intermediate level clients.
The course is based on the movement principles of The Polestar® Pilates, biomechanical analysis of exercises, their interconnection and selection for different clients.
During the course we will move from simpler to more complex exercise variations. We will analyze the main contraindications and precautions for exercises and get clear starting points for exercise training.
From the course material, you will learn the principles of planning the REFORMER training. We will talk about the role of imagery and its use in teaching Pilates, and you will practice tactical commands and communication skills. During the 2 day course, you will receive a complete set of knowledge to start a professional practice or improve your existing teaching skills and personal skill set.
The purpose of the Pilates Reformer course is to prepare trainers by providing practical and theoretical knowledge of working with the REFORMER equipment, who can conduct training both in groups and individually.
After completing the course, a Polestar® Pilates School (USA) participant certificate will be issued.

Course objectives:
After completing this course, participants should:
1. Correctly perform 18 Pilates exercises on the Reformer.
2. Correctly describe the basic principles of each exercise.
3. Know the rules of use and safety measures when working with Reformers.
4. Know and understand the most common contraindications and precautions when performing exercises on the Reformer.
5. To know the main anatomical bony landmarks necessary for conducting classes.
6. Correct the most common exercise mistakes according to Polestar Pilates principles.
7. Know Polestar exercise categories. 8. Know how to plan a lesson according to the Polestar categories.

Exercises and their modifications for beginners, intermediates, advanced clients
