Comprehensive Studio Polestar® Pilates provides a complete understanding of the Pilates method and the set of knowledge, abilities and skills necessary for successful work in the studio! You will learn the principles of one of the most important – TESTING (Polestar Pilates Screening) and working with PILATES EQUIPMENT: Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, as well as on the mat and with Pilates equipment.

Comprehensive Studio Polestar® Pilates training consists of six modules of two days each, for a total of 12 days (one module of 16 hours).

If you are thinking about a career as a personal Pilates trainer or, already having experience as a Pilates trainer, you are looking for new opportunities to improve your performance in order to expand and structure your existing knowledge, this course is for you. Long-term training provides an opportunity to consistently absorb information, accumulating and honing teaching excellence and improving personal practice. On average, the course lasts 8-10 months.

One of the most important advantages of the Studio Pilates course is the use of a fitness test (Polestar Pilates Screening ). Thanks to this test, the client’s functional condition is evaluated, the received information is analyzed and an optimal training program is created on this basis, including the client’s health status and personal goals.

Each Studio Pilates module consists of: theoretical material (lectures on anatomy, teaching theory and methodology) practical part (studying, mastering performance techniques, training in exercise training with Pilates equipment) fitness testing (assessment and analysis of the client’s functional capabilities, goal setting, exercise sequences and creating progressions that match the principles of Polestar Pilates).

The Polestar Movement Principles video seminar must be listened to before starting the basic training!

In the course of the studio Pilates course, you will learn more than 150 exercises as well as their endless variations and modifications using the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair Pilates, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector ), and also exercises on the mat.

After completing the course, you will be able to: determine the client’s functional condition and level of readiness for exercise, select the most effective exercises, principles of working with large equipment: Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, as well as on the mat and with Pilates equipment, equipment safety technical and technical service rules, correctly perform all exercises and their modifications, solve practical tasks, create functional restoration plans for specific examples, modify basic exercises taking into account the capabilities of customers.

Completion: Polestar Pilates International Instructor Certificate (USA), recognized worldwide. Attention! The entire training consists of Polestar Movement Principles and 6 study course modules.

The seminar Polestar Movement Principles must be attended before starting the training in the 1st module of the Study Course.

Topics and program of the module:

 

Training format: 2-day training (16 hours)

Purpose: to master the basic exercises for beginners, using various equipment, to introduce the functional diagnosis of Polestar Pilates.

Theory: Basics of posture assessment; setting up the equipment taking into account the safety of the client and choosing the most comfortable position for the instructor for training.

Practice: Hip exercises, basic “center” stabilization, thoracic spine mobility, lower extremity alignment.

 

Training format: 2-day training (16 hours).

Purpose: To master the basic exercises for beginners and intermediate level of preparation, using various equipment.

Theory: Creating a Polestar Pilates training program and exercise sequence.

Practice: Basic shoulder position, spinal mobility in flexion and lateral flexion, increasing “core” muscle strength, spinal extension and lower extremity stretching opportunities.

Training format: 2-day training (16 hours).

Purpose: to learn basic exercises for an intermediate level of preparation, using various equipment.

Theory: Using Visualization in Pilates Training.

Practice: weight-bearing exercises for functional upper extremity, standing alignment and balance, moderate “center” stabilization, harmonious spinal mobility, moderate movement exploration.

Training format: 2-day training (16 hours).

Objective: To learn the basic exercises for intermediate and beginner-advanced training levels, using all kinds of equipment.

Theory: Using Tactile Commands in Pilates Training.

Practice: Upper extremity weight-bearing exercises for advanced clients, “core” muscle work in spinal flexion for advanced clients, intermediate standing exercises, lower extremity strengthening and alignment, spinal extension exercises for advanced clients.

Training format: 2-day training (16 hours).

Purpose: To master basic exercises for advanced level of preparation using various equipment.

Theory: Communication skills in Pilates training.

Practice: “Core” exercises for spinal flexion for advanced clients, upper and lower extremity strengthening exercises for advanced clients, lateral flexion exercises for advanced clients, standing and balance exercises, exploration of advanced difficulty level movements.

Training format: 2-day training (16 hours).

Purpose: To master basic exercises for advanced level of preparation using various equipment.

Theory: Bioenergetics, therapeutic effects of exercise.

Practice: Advanced difficulty level exercises in all possible planes and starting positions; solving practical tasks based on teaching examples – selecting exercises and training plans based on the knowledge of the “Fitness Screening (Polestar Pilates Screening)” methodology.

**Price does not include Pilates POLESTAR® final exam fees, practical inter-module meetings.
