Anatomy Trains In Structure and Function

About the Course

A revolutionary map with practical results! Transform your view of myofascial anatomy and expand your ability to assess postural and movement patterns, and to create lasting fascial change with your hands. In this new and expanded 21-hour workshop format you will learn about the myofascial tissue and its many roles in the body. You will begin to appreciate how the body incorporates the Anatomy Train Lines to create easy and graceful movement – provided they are in some form of balance and harmony. Restriction or weakness in one section can have many knock-on effects elsewhere.

This workshop will show you how that happens, how to trace the lines of strain and, most importantly, how you can develop strategies to deal with them.

This is the first workshop to combine Anatomy Trains theory alongside structural and functional anatomy and analysis, blending together the concepts of tensegrity with elastic recoil for movement efficiency.

Anatomy Trains in Structure & Function courses give you new techniques to transform structure by reaching deeper issues in the tissues.

Duration:
21-hour workshop over 3 days

Note: This course is a prerequisite for the ATSI Professional Certification Training and The Structural Essentials Series.

The seminar is intended for manual therapy specialists, physiotherapists, and trainers.

The seminar will be led by Marius Kurkowski, a physical therapist and manual therapy specialist.

The seminar will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation into Lithuanian.

After this seminar, continue your journey with the ATSI Program:

ATSI Program Overview

The ATSI program is broken into three parts. All parts must be taken in sequential order. We require all students complete each part of the program within 2 years of each other.

All along the way, you’ll get ‘hands on’ personal attention, academic and touch-skills assessments, and all the materials and skills you need to make a success in the practice of restoring natural balance and fluid movement.

ATSI Part 1: Structural Essentials (14 days):

Students have a choice of our modular weekend workshop format of six regional anatomy and technique courses delivered worldwide, or our intensive format covering the same material. Students will learn fascial touch, anatomy, manual therapy techniques, body mechanics, BodyReading, and the Anatomy Trains myofascial meridians based on the work of Tom Myers.

ATSI Part 2: Structural Strategies – 10 days.

ATSI Part 3: Structural Integration – 31 days.
