FOR THE FIRST TIME IN LITHUANIA – an official introductory workshop on the FELDENKRAIS Method!
Aeromix, in collaboration with the international Feldenkrais Institute, is organizing an exclusive hands-on workshop for the first time in Lithuania, inviting you to discover the world-renowned Feldenkrais Method—created by scientist, engineer, and judo master Moshé Feldenkrais—and to experience it firsthand. It is a unique approach to movement in which the body becomes the primary tool for self-discovery, awareness, and personal growth.
Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity in Lithuania to get an up-close look at and experience this method!
Among the various somatic education practices, the method created by the scientist Moshe Feldenkrais (1904–1984) is a pioneer in recognizing the importance of the nervous system for movement organization and the ability to form new or refine existing synaptic connections.
Looking for an efficient and long-lasting solution for his own knee issues caused by old sports injuries, Feldenkrais designed a system that combines biomechanics, neuroscience, motor development, martial arts, and anthropology, all from a deeply humanistic and vital perspective.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the Feldenkrais Method through a combination of Awareness Through Movement (ATM) group lessons, Functional Integration (FI) hands-on practice, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions. Participants will explore how movement awareness, gentle touch, and guided learning can improve coordination, enhance movement efficiency, and open new possibilities for working with the body. This immersive experience will provide valuable insights and practical knowledge for both personal development and professional practice.
As a result of his research, he created a method that is now known worldwide and applied in highly diverse fields:
| Medicine, Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy | Recovery from daily pain and injuries, post-surgery support, spine issues, rehabilitation for neurological conditions, and work with children with special needs (CNS). |
| Sports | Performance enhancement, technique refinement, and injury prevention. |
| Arts (Music, Theater, Dance, Singing, Circus) | Improvement in dance technique, coordination, balance, voice, breathing, body language, and expression. |
| Psychology | Integrating the body into therapeutic processes through a somatic approach. |
| Education | Used by practitioners worldwide to teach architecture, mathematics, or philosophy, opening new doors in pedagogy. |
| Well-being | Self-improvement, enhanced quality of life, and deeper self-awareness through personal practice. |
During this two-day intensive workshop, participants will immerse themselves in a comprehensive experience of the Feldenkrais Method. Each day will follow schedule similar to a professional training day.
The Teacher of the workshop will be a physical therapist and a Feldenkrais Method Trainer Jaime Polanco.
The workshop will be conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation into Lithuanian.
The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Feldenkrais Institute.

During this two-day intensive workshop, participants will immerse themselves in a comprehensive experience of the Feldenkrais Method. Each day will follow schedule similar to a professional training day:
| Group Lessons: Awareness Through Movement (ATM) | The foundation of all learning. These lessons allow you to personally experience the changes and processes that your own clients or students go through, following the principle of experiential learning. |
| Reflections & Lectures | Theoretical principles are presented after the practice. Concepts pass through the body and movement first before becoming cognitive knowledge. |
| Hands-on Work: Functional Integration (FI) | Although mastering the art of Functional Integration requires time and experience, we will practice with basic yet powerful tools to provide a complete understanding of this work. |
| Full Demonstration | A live, complete individual session with one of the participants, followed by a Q&A session. |
| Questions & Answers | Questions are always welcome in the Feldenkrais Method. At the right moment, they clarify concepts, shift perspectives, and spark curiosity. There will be dedicated times for questions. Some answers will be direct; other times, the question itself opens the path to further learning without needing an immediate answer. |
